Synopsis

We meet three of Belgium's Golden Generation, Romelu Lukaku, Axel Witsel, and Thibaut Courtois. Playing alongside each other for years they have become lifelong friends. This series gains unique access to the players, their families, and their homes going inside their lives showing what it is really like to compete at the elite level of football.

E1One for All: LukakuWe visit Lukaku in Milan in his second stint at the club after returning from Chelsea. He talks about growing up with a burning desire to play professionally at Anderlecht and how he used the anger of his youth to push himself further. We learn more about the pressure of playing at the top, and the importance of family and caring for his kids alongside his passion for football.E2One for All: CourtoisWe meet Courtois at his home in the Spanish capital during his season with Real Madrid. He takes us into his home and tells us what drives him to succeed, how important his debut at Genk was, and the path that would eventually lead to him wining the Champions League with Real. With personal archive we see his very earliest times playing football.E3One for All: WitselWitsel shows us around his house and neighbourhood while playing for Atletico de Madrid. As we meet him he tells us the importance that religion and family play in his life. He talks about how his career has evolved through the choices he made, getting started in football and dealing with the difficulties, criticism and setbacks in life.E4One for All: World CupCourtois, Lukaku and Witsel discuss the 2022 World Cup campaign and in their fifth tournament together this will also be the last chance for some of the golden generation. They give insight from inside the Belgian camp, the media storm surrounding the team, and tournament’s result. The players also reflect on what might lie in their future as a Red Devil.
