Synopsis
An unknown actor from Korea, having lost everything after appearing in pornography, hides away as an online sex worker under the alias "Smile Charles." The painful gap between his inner emotions and his forced expressions breeds an unbearable awkwardness that severs him completely from the world. One day, Mari—a con artist who swindled 2 billion—pierces through the cracks of his isolated life. The uneasy companionship between the slick scammer and the awkward sex worker weaves through Bangkok's humid nights and Ayutthaya's silent ruins, leading Charles to confront the forgotten dreams and phantoms of his past.
